Nikesh Kumar

Nikesh joined the Human Predictions India team in 2024 as a Senior Scientist. Prior to Human Predictions, Nikesh served as a Manager at Excelra, where his work encompassed conducting systematic literature reviews, developing meta-analysis databases, and leading end-to-end projects — from developing search strategies to preparing specifications and standardizing datasets across diverse therapeutic areas. In addition to epidemiology and HEOR data extraction, Nikesh’s expertise includes data unification, validation, and leveraging advanced analytical tools like R studio including collaborating closely with R programmers to develop R-based quality control checks and automation processes. Additionally, he provided mentorship to team members and training for new hires.

Earlier in his career, Nikesh gained valuable experience in structure-activity relationships (SAR) extraction and competitive intelligence, which laid the foundation for his passion for clinical research including meta-analysis, data modelling, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Nikesh holds a Master’s in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Satavahana University, Karimnagar, India.
