SCIENTIST

This announcement is for two (2) fully remote positions and open to candidates based in India.

Key responsibilities:

• Performing abstract and full-text screening for relevance;
• Extracting relevant data from research articles and clinical trial databases;
• Curating data to support systematic reviews and meta-analyses;
• Collaborating with senior scientists to ensure data quality and consistency;
• Supporting the development of clinical database tool;
• Participating in process improvement and standard operating procedures (SOPs) development;
• Developing and executing literature search strategies across databases such as PubMed, clinicaltrilas.gov, FDA, Embase, Cochrane, and other relevant sources;
• Performing quality control (QC) checks on curated datasets to ensure completeness and accuracy; and
• Providing subject matter expertise in evidence synthesis methodologies and assist in training junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in pharmacology, pharmaceutics or other relevant life sciences;
• 6–8 years of experience in evidence synthesis, literature review, or clinical data curation, review and QC;
• Proven ability to develop search strategies and perform QC on curated datasets;
• Proficiency with literature databases, and data extraction tools;
• Experience in communicating complex data and ensuring data integrity;
• Computer skills (MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, PowerPoint); and
• Competencies and skills in the following: communication in English – verbal and written; strong attention to detail; excellent documentation and communication skills; and ability to effectively problem solve both independently and with others.
